Hydrolysed Collagen
Our supplements are designed to support a balanced, nutritious diet. Our hydrolysed collagen can be taken at any time throughout the day with meals or beverages.
Our collagen is predominantly sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine and contains natural, quality ingredients.
Collagen is one of the most abundant proteins found naturally in our body, making up about 35% of our body’s protein content. It is often referred to as the 'glue' holding our entire body together. Collagen synthesis declines as we age, which is why supplementing may be useful, not just for Mums!
Heavy metals and bacteria are found in foods and water we consume daily. We third party test our collagen to ensure microbiology and heavy metal levels ranges remain well below the accepted range as determined by food standards Australia and New Zealand.
While collagen is generally considered safe and beneficial in pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is important to consult with your own health care professional prior to commencing any new supplement or medication to ensure it is suitable for your individual requirements.
We value your individualised health journey.
Unfortunately there are no commercially viable sourced certified organic collagen at the moment. This is a global issue and hopefully will change as the industry expands.
Our hydrolysed collagen is sourced from predominantly grass-fed and pasture-raised bovine. However, due to some of the cows being located in climates where it snows for a significant amount of the year and due to other severe environmental conditions, cattle are occasionally fed non GMO grains to ensure survival.
It is important to discuss the use of all medications, vitamins and supplements with your health professional.
Our collagen protein is standardised to contain type 1 and type 3 collagen. These types of collagen are the most abundant types present in the connective tissue in our body and as found in our hair, skin, bones, nails, muscles and ligaments.
When our collagen products are being mixed and first filled into our containers, the powder becomes aerated and extremely fluffy and the container is filled to the top. The powder then settles a few days later, to the point in which you have received it. If we were to put it into smaller containers they would be overflowing and we would not be able to fill it with the weight of the product specified on the packaging. Please be assured that your full dose of collagen is in there as we sell by weight, not volume.
Our hydrolysed collagen is kosher friendly, but unfortunately is not halal certified.
Myo-Inositol
Myo-Inositol has a high safety profile and is found in many prenatal vitamins (smaller doses). It is present in breast milk and is also found naturally in foods we consume, such as fruit and grains.
Research has found that Myo-Inositol may be beneficial for gestational diabetes, insulin resistance, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, egg quality, sleep quality during pregnancy + more.
Although this supplement has a high safety profile, it is important to consult your health professional prior to commencing any new supplement or medication to ensure it is suitable for your individual requirements.
No, absolutely not!
Myo-Inositol is used for many other things including: Insulin resistance, fertility, egg quality, menstrual cycle regularity, mental health, metabolic disorders, sleep quality, gestational diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, optimal functioning of the nervous system, reducing androgen levels, improving hormone health + so much more.
Myo-Inositol can be taken at any time of the day. Most individuals take split doses morning and night time, or as recommended by their health professional.
Myo-Inositol can be commenced at any time and is not not dependent on where you are in your cycle.
As a dietary supplement it is recommended to start with 1/2 - 1 level teaspoon which is equivalent to the recommended dose of 2-4g.
1sp = 4g
1/2 tsp = 2g
It is important to consult your health professional for individual dosing requirements and prior to supplementing.
Myo-Inositol is generally well tolerated.
With larger doses e.g. 12g some individuals may experience nausea, bloating, dizziness and tiredness. If this occurs, please stop supplementation and consult your health professional.
We pride ourselves on providing high quality supplements.
Our product is sourced from 100% pharmaceutical Myo-Inositol and contain no GMOs.
Our Myo-Inositol is third party heavy metal tested, which most conventional brands are not.
If products aren’t third party tested, we are simply assuming that the ingredients used are high quality as determined by the supplier.
At MH we do not feel comfortable making those assumptions and want to ensure our products continue to remain high quality for our peace of mind, as well as our community.
Heavy metals are everywhere, from the water we drink, to the food we consume. By testing for heavy metals, this ensures that the levels in our products are safe and comply with accepted values as determined by food standards Australia & New Zealand. All of our products are analysed and come back well below the accepted range.
Generally speaking and from most research, 3 months is typically when most individuals start to experience benefits.
For some individuals, benefits can be seen much earlier and for some later, just like with any supplement, individual results may vary.
It is important to discuss the use of all medications, vitamins and supplements with your health provider.
Every woman is different and has individualised health requirements. Please always consult your health provider prior to taking any supplement, vitamin or medication.
Research indicates that Myo-Inositol may positively influence these three aspects of sperm health:
No it is not.
As mentioned on our website, our product is 100% Myo-Inositol Powder.
We chose to leave Di-Chiro Inositol out due to similar benefits and reduced side effects.

BABY WASH
Add a few pumps to running bath water to help the product mix in. A little goes a long way for our little ones. Alternatively, add a few pumps to a damp cloth and rub together to lather.
Fragrances are a collection of chemicals that are used to give a product a certain smell or scent. According to the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) 3,059 materials can be used in fragrance. Many of which, have been linked to reproductive toxicity, endocrine disruption, allergies and more. In fact, a single scent can contain anywhere from 50-300 chemicals.
Our little one's organs and immune systems are still developing and are incredibly vulnerable to fragrance (hence the main reason we chose not to include it).
Potassium Hydroxide is used to saponify olive oil into soap. It's what makes our formula soap/lather. None remains in our baby wash, but for transparency purposes, we choose to list it even when other brands don't.
Castile-based products were first produced many centuries ago in the Castile region of Spain. Traditionally, Castile soap was made with 100% olive oil, without the addition of coconut oil. We wanted to honour these traditional practices. Additionally, some research suggests that topical exposure to coconut oil before oral exposure through the gut can increase the risk of allergies.
Although it is a bit of a mouthful, this ingredient is a naturally derived thickening agent. Derived from cellulose, a sugar found in the cell walls of plants.
We were careful to avoid other ingredients such as citric acid, sodium benzoate, fragrances, parabens, phthalates, SLS, SLES and more.

As an eco-conscious small business, we aim to minimise plastic use as much as possible.
The potential risks of microplastics are greater for infants because they lack sufficiently developed metabolising enzymes, have a reduced ability to eliminate micro-plastics, and possess highly sensitive target organs. Because of this, plastic bottles were not an option.
Additionally, our amber glass bottle protects our formula from UV radiation.
You can read more about microplastic exposure in our blog here.
This was intentional. Many bath products contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Ethoxylated Compounds to make the product "bubble"
However these chemicals have been linked to skin related irritations and may be something you want to avoid if your little one has any existing skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis.
You can learn more about this in our blog here.
Baby Oil
Absolutely not! We developed this product to be completely free from toxins and food-based ingredients, using only certified organic materials. It's safe for use from newborns onward, including infants, toddlers, children, individuals with eczema, and even for your belly during pregnancy and postpartum.
Put a few drops on your palms and gently massage your baby from head to toe.
Jojoba is non-toxic and non-allergenic, making it suitable for newborns up. Extracted from a seed, rather than a nut, jojoba oil closely resembles the skin's natural sebum, providing hydration, without compromising the skin barrier.
